Ava Leegant, MD is a board-certified OB/GYN specializing in urogynecology and menopause health, known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach.

She previously served as Division Director and Fellowship Program Director in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, and has extensive clinical and research expertise in urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, painful bladder syndrome, and quality-of-life outcomes for midlife women.

Dr. Leegant completed medical school at Temple University, followed by residency in OB/GYN at USC–LAC. After residency, she moved to New York City and completed a fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, full-spectrum care.

She believes every woman deserves to thrive—not just endure—menopause, and she is proud to serve Alloy patients with warmth, clinical excellence, and a holistic approach to well-being.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Leegant enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, practicing yoga, and traveling.
